YEP Leeds – Southbank Developer Panel – POSTPONED

This event has been postponed and we will issue refunds in due course.  Follow us on Twitter @globalyep and @yepleeds
Date: Thursday 2 April
Time: 5:30pm
Location:  AECOM, 2 City Walk, Holbeck, Leeds LS11 9AR

YEP Leeds is hosting a panel event with the developers and interest groups that are delivering the South Bank vision. We’re kindly hosted by AECOM at their newly refurbished offices, refreshments will be provided.

The regeneration of South Bank will double the size and economic impact of Leeds City Centre. Equivalent in size to 350 football pitches, the ambitious proposals will provide for over 8,000 new homes by 2028 and support the delivery of 35,000 jobs.

The event will delve further into the major initiatives being delivered within the South Bank, reflecting on success to date and provide an insight into what is happening next.

The panel event will consider the major challenges, and lessons learned on how to deliver major mixed use development, how to deliver inclusive growth, respond to a climate emergency and how to transform an area from ‘UK motorway city of the 70s’ to a major global destination.

You will get the chance to meet with key players involved in the delivery of the South Bank, and the event will have clear learning outcomes – it will be of particular interest for CPD requirements for APC/ Professional Memberships across the built environment.
