YEP Oxford

Our YEP Oxford Chapter is currently under development. Setting up of the Chapter was commenced in April 2017 and we continue to grow the committee through YEP’s existing membership, sponsors and partners. The launch of the Chapter is planned towards the end of 2017, in collaboration with our established partners so watch this space!

Oxford is a city in the South East region of England and the county town of Oxfordshire. With an estimated 2015 population of 168,270, it is one of the fastest growing and most ethnically diverse cities in the UK. The city is situated 57 miles from London and 69 miles from Bristol.

The city is known worldwide as the home of the University of Oxford, the oldest university in the English-speaking world. Buildings in Oxford demonstrate notable examples of every English architectural period since the late Saxon period. Oxford is known as the “city of dreaming spires”, a term coined by poet Matthew Arnold. Oxford has a broad economic base. Its industries include motor manufacturing, education, publishing and a large number of information technology and science-based businesses, some being academic offshoots.

We look forward to establishing a chapter of YEP in the City of Spires. If you are interested in knowing more about this Chapter or opportunities of being involved as a partner, sponsor or committee member please email mail@yepoxford.com
