Young Entrepreneurs in Property launches Birmingham Chapter

Sophie Eastwood, YEP Global Director

On 19th September, Young Entrepreneurs in Property, a 5,000-strong organisation that represents young, ambitious professionals in the property sector, launched a chapter in Birmingham.

The launch, which was held at Revolución de Cuba in the city centre, attracted over 150 professionals from across the property industry.

Dean Hockley, chair of the Birmingham Chapter, said: “We have launched a chapter in Birmingham to help make valuable connections between young people in property so they can learn, network and thrive. We represent a membership that is driven by solutions and betterment, not problems, and is brimming with enthusiasm. We want to harness that for the benefit of Birmingham and the West Midlands.”

Johnny Clayton, chairman of YEP Global, said: “Our opening in Birmingham follows a period of UK expansion in the last 12 months, with chapters now in Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Southampton. We’re delighted to now be supporting a network of young professionals in Birmingham. It is a thriving city and an exciting hotbed of development and regeneration activity that can only benefit from the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation in our industry.”

YEP Global has over 5,000 members across the UK and Dubai. It is planning to open further chapters in the UK and forge links abroad, from Europe to the U.S.
