YEP Birmingham

Our YEP Birmingham Chapter is currently under development. Setting up of the Chapter was commenced in April 2017 and we continue to grow the committee through YEP’s existing membership, sponsors and partners. The launch of the Chapter is planned towards the end of 2017, in collaboration with our established partners so watch this space!

Birmingham’s economy is dominated by the service sector. The city is a major international commercial center, ranked as a gamma+ world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network; and an important transport, retail, events and conference hub. Its metropolitan economy is the second largest in the United Kingdom with a GDP of $121.1bn, and its six universities make it the largest center of higher education in the country outside London.
Birmingham’s major cultural institutions – including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Birmingham Repertory Theater, the Library of Birmingham and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts – enjoy international reputations, and the city has vibrant and influential grassroots art, music, literary and culinary scenes. Birmingham is the fourth-most visited city in the UK by foreign visitors.
We look forward to establishing a chapter of YEP at the heart of the West Midlands. If you are interested in knowing more about this Chapter or opportunities of being involved as a partner, sponsor or committee member please email mail@yepbirmingham.com
