YEP Southampton: Breakfast Panel Debate – Understanding the impact of the new fire safety & building acts

In collaboration with our event sponsor, Morgan Sindall, we  are proud to bring you a panel debate on recent changes to building health and safety.

The event will begin with some hot  drinks, breakfast bacon rolls, or suitable vegetarian alternative, and pastries to kick off your morning the right way! All whilst you network with the wide range  of property and construction professionals that frequent our events –   hopefully making some great connections.

Once we are suitably fuelled,   we can open our informative panel discussion featuring speakers with broad  knowledge and understanding of the recent changes to the Building Safety Act   2022 & The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. We will initially have presentations  providing background understanding, to be followed by an open forum for  attendees to ask the questions they need answers to.

This is a hot topic that  affects all of those involved in the property and construction industry, this  event should provide a platform for all to develop their expertise in this  area and be part of the conversation.

Event overview:

8:00am – Doors open, grab your   breakfast bacon roll (or vegetarian alternative!) and a pastry, and network  with likeminded professionals, chat with the speakers and YEP Southampton committee.

8:30am – Panel debate begins, we’ll  have presentations from our speakers before the Chair will open the floor to  questions.

10:00am – Panel will close, take away some  new knowledge and understanding.

There is an opportunity to stay   at the venue after 10:00am to replenish your teas and coffees, and open some  further conversations with other attendees, the committee, or the speakers.
