YEP Southampton is delighted to welcome you to our first ever 'Hackathon-style debate'.
We're delighted to confirm that this event is kindly sponsored by Morgan Sindall who is also providing 30 complimentary tickets to local students, both undergraduate and postgraduate.
The built environment industry is facing a major skills shortage. The workforce shortfall is projected to widen in the future with some estimates showing that over 150,000 new workers will be needed in the UK property sector within 5 years.
We want to use YEP's platform to identify what the current barriers are to getting more people to join this incredible industry - what do the Next Generation want, what are the misconceptions, and what are the opportunities? This is what the Hackathon aims to find out!
