YEP, a 5,500-strong membership organisation for entrepreneurs and future leaders in real estate, has today announced BDP as a corporate partner. The partnership is founded on a mutual passion to provide a platform for the real estate professionals who will lead and drive the industry as well as to promote diversity and retain top talent.
Founded over 20 years’ ago, YEP is a well-established network that has positively influenced the careers and attainment of many individuals in the property sector, with many going on to lead businesses and effect positive change in the industry. BDP is a major international practice of architects, designers, engineers and urbanists, which aims to create outstanding places for people. It is also known for creating an inclusive and supportive working environment for its employees and is one of the few practices to have a Future Thinkers Group within its business.
Sophie Eastwood, Director of YEP and founder of Holistic Group, which comprises strategic communications consultancy Holistic and market research company Holistic Insight, said: “The board at BDP invited us in to share the story about YEP, its mission and range of activities. Their response was overwhelmingly positive and we are thrilled to now welcome such a significant practice as a corporate partner for YEP. As a non-profit making organisation, we rely on the support of progressive businesses like BDP to help us develop and deliver our wide range of events and activities, all of which provide opportunities for our members to grow their networks, learn, do business and have a voice. We’re already working on exciting joint event ideas for 2025 which will further add to the diversity of our programme in London and beyond.”
Simon Riley, Principal and Chair of BDP’s London Studio, said, “We’re really impressed with YEP’s dedication to helping up-and-coming talent in our industry. With more than 60 years as a multidisciplinary consultancy, we’ve seen firsthand how diverse teams lead to more inclusive spaces. We believe in using design as a force for good, and we want to inspire the next generation of property professionals to make a positive impact. We're proud to be a corporate member of YEP and look forward to many years of meaningful collaboration and networking.”
